Mick Gzowski has created documentary films for CBC Television, CBC News Network, the CTV Network, the Knowledge Network, the Documentary Channel, The Life Channel, The Discovery Channel, and The History Channel.
He's written for the National Geographic Channel US, the Discovery Channel, CBC Television and Radio, and TV Ontario.
He produced five years of CBC television and three years for CBC Radio.
He financed university working at the Toronto Sun, before being hired as a feature writer for the Vancouver Sun. He still writes when there's a bee in his bonnet for newspapers and magazines.
From 2003-2006, he was Prime Minister Paul Martin's Official Videographer. From 2006-2009, he was Broadcast Media Consultant for the National Liberal Caucus in opposition.
In 2009, Gzowski reopened his boutique multimedia production company Gzowski Films. His clients are international, national and local. He is a fulltime freelance member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery, covering politics and short features for Canadian, European, Asian and American agencies.
He has created limited series for the UN, UNDP, NDI, WarChild Canada, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, the Ottawa Art Gallery, the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, the Walrus Magazine and the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards.
In 2017 he ghost-wrote a feature script and is currently developing independent documentaries.
